Unwrapping the Future: A Special Delivery from Deutsche Telekom IoT

Just in time for the festive Christmas season, we’ve received an exceptional gift that’s set to propel us into the future of IoT connectivity – an NTN-enabled Evaluation Kit from Deutsche Telekom IoT. This package isn’t just a piece of technology; it’s a key to unlocking the vast potential of Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) for IoT applications.

Satellites in geostationary orbit (GEO) circle Earth above the equator from west to east following Earth’s rotation – taking 23 hours 56 minutes and 4 seconds – by travelling at exactly the same rate as Earth.(1)

With this initiative, we’re gearing up to transform the IoT landscape by prototyping and developing applications that leverage the power of satellite connectivity. This venture is not just about technological advancement; it’s about shaping the fabric of IoT communication on a global scale.

The Journey Ahead: A Six-Month Sprint of Discovery and Collaboration

The next six months are set to be a whirlwind of innovation, learning, and collaboration. Our team is poised to delve into the nuances of Satellite NB-IoT connectivity, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. We’re committed to sharing our progress and insights as we embark on this journey of discovery.
